Did I ever tell you about...?

Did I ever tell you about...?

I've gotta say that driving Erin is an absolute pleasure. Not only is she the sweetest passenger a lad could hope for, she's got some of the best Hollywood stories I've ever heard. Did she ever tell you about the time she met Alanis Morissette at a small dinner party? In itself, the even isn't that interesting, but did I mention that they have an ex-boyfriend in common? It's the guy who played Ed in the show "Ed". Or that she dated Fabio for a while and asked about the infamous goose incident? Did she by chance mention her horrific experience with a job in South Korea during which a friend went crazy and the South Korean government held her hostage in the Colon Hotel?

Unbelievable. Her stories never fail to put me in the right mindset during the morning drive. Who'd've thought that younger actress with whom I share a complementary personality would be more pleasurable than driving old men? Baffling without a doubt.

    Patchy hair challenge

    Patchy hair challenge

I've decided not to shave my facial hair until the end of this film shoot (or until it drives me crazy). I figure I'm not going to see Jessie except for weekends for the next month so it's the best time to try and see what I look like with a month's growth. I'm curious, but mostly I've got nothing better with which to occupy my time. Anyway, here are some poorly taken self-portraits for the first week's growth.

    Here's a kind of 3/4 angle.

Here's what the facial hair looks like wrapped around a funny face.

I'm fully expecting for me to look ridiculous a la Ben Affleck's embarrassing goatee in Chasing Amy, except mine will have some meager and patchy wingmen flanking on my cheeks. Jessie will have to bear with it on the weekends, but I've really got no one onset to impress and--like I said--nothing better to do.
