Quick Summary
I'm sure the suspense was killing everybody, so I'll just bullet point what has at this point become passe to me: I was in a car accident. My car was totalled, but everyone involved was fine. Even the little dog in the other car was okay. (He seemed more than okay, in fact. I think he was just excited to meet someone new.) Anyway, below is a picture of my new car. He's a brand new Honda Fit named Argo after the ship and--more recently--the horse in Shadow of the Colossus because I'm a nerd of mythology and video games.
In more pressing news, I'm watching Henry Fool right now, and I seem to recall a time when the United States had an independent film movement. Where did that go? Did I miss something in the few years I've been working for The Man? When I was in college, I seem to recall American Independent film. In fact, I took a class on it. Where'd it go? Do I have any detectives out there? I'd love to hear about any off-the-cuff movies that have come out recently that I might not be aware of. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

American Indie Film isn't dead. It's just broke and in need of money. What I want to know is, where have all the good lowbudget horror movies gone too?
