I've literally got nothing to post about, yet I'm doing it anyway. How about that?
Actually I'm looking to start a podcast. A comics podcast. Suggestions? Pleas of clemency to spare the world of yet another comics podcast?
(By the way, if you're not already subscribed to Mur Lafferty's sublime Geek Fu Action Grip, get subscribed.)
Let me know. The comics podcast would be more focused on comics history, aesthetics, and some reviews. I think the geek factor of comics is pretty well covered by all the other comics podcasts out there. Like I said, feedback would be nice before I pay for server space.
By the way, anyone seen Man with the Screaming Brain yet? Apparently it's going to premiere on TV September 25, but I'd love to get some first-hand reviews before then.

Ironically I wasn't on the list for the rugged soldier thing. My guy booked me for the gig, but they probably took a look at my picture themselves and discreetly laid me in the "Pussy" pile. It's just as well, though; my facial hair was patchy and ragged. The others' facial hair shamed mine.
The money, however, would've been nice.

As for good comic podcasts? I believe they're only fables, whispered from geek to geek in dimly-lit corner booths of seedy taverns amongst d20's, character sheets and the smells of spilt Millers and nerd funk.
Though it's not a full-fledged comic podcast, I maintain my recommendation of Mur Lafferty's Geek Fu Action Grip. It's the closest thing to a good comics podcast that I've been able to find.

Naw. I acknowledge the difference and distinguish between spilt Millers/nerd funk. Two separate entities that produce a distinct--and sadly familiar--aroma.
