God help me. I respect The Gap.

God help me. I respect The Gap.

I never thought I'd say this, but I have so much respect for The Gap right now. I'm watching The Corporation, and the following text is on the screen:

"Under pressure from the National Labor Committee, Gap Inc. allowed independent monitoring of its El Salvador factories, becoming the first transnational corporation to do so anywhere."

That's pretty hardcore and completely respectable. I guess I'll have to stop giving Jessie a hard time about occassionally shopping there.

Also, Ray Anderson is my new hero. If you watch The Corporation you'll see why.

Don't worry, just go into a Gap and they'll treat you like dirt. Then you'll be back to hating them in no time!

Hooray! Dirt! I've never bought anything from the Gap, nor do I ever intend to enter one without a scowl on my face. I would also describe all prices as "outrageous".

Oh, Matt...The Pacifier... *sigh*
