...all four midnight showings of Sin City at the Arclight are sold out (there's one that's a digital projection presentation at 12:25 AM). Not only that, the reviews are looking pretty good. Can't wait to see it if only for Mickey Rourke as Marv and Clive Owen's intentionally hammy American accent. Scantily clad women are also nice.

[UPDATE: By the way, the editing in Unforgiven sucks. Obvious, hardcore suck. On the other hand, to hear Gene Hackman say (thumbs resting in his forepockets), "Hell, I even thought I was dead...till I found out it was just that I was in Nebraska" makes up for quite a bit.

{UPDATE-UPDATE: Okay, goddammit. The acting's so good in Unforgiven that it makes up for the poor editing. I maintain, however, that the film is poorly cut. Man, this is like a play-by-play of me watching the movie.}]
