I never thought I'd say this, but "God Bless you, Wal-Mart."

I never thought I'd say this, but "God Bless you, Wal-Mart."

So I went to Wal-Mart the other day (per Kate's advice)to pick up The Incredibles DVD and perhaps also the one for Eternal Sunshine.... Not only did I save about six dollars on The Incredibles, I ended up finding several other movies I've been meaning to pick up for a while. In addition to The Incredibles I got Once Upon a Time in Mexico and American Splendor for $9.44 each, Basic Instinct and The Rules of Attraction for $5.50 each and Shaun of the Dead for the admittedly high for Walmart/reasonable in the real world price of $20. I half kicked myself when I went through checkout, but then I looked at all the kick-ass stuff I had in my bag.

In short: I need to stay the hell away from that place for a while. Hence I'm devouring every special feature on every DVD I bought there to eat up time. Forgive the ingestion metaphors; I'm eating dinner at the moment.

I'm a corporate whore! Go to Wal-Mart!

    i really like reading your entries, you have a wonderful way of writing which makes even the most boring situatuons (such as going to wal-mart) interesting. I hope the whole photography thing works out for you, and if it doesn't...you could certaintly be a model (a plan to fall back on perhaps?)
