Oh, the things I've seen...I watched quite a few movies in the past few days, and I'd just like to list them before I forget them.
Watching:Zardoz (Do NOT rent this movie.)
Full Metal Yakuza (For fans of Miike's more comedic work.)
Art School Confidential (Entertaining, but forgetable. Not up to par with Zwigoff's other work and doesn't even touch Clowes' comic work.)
Accepted (I felt ripped off even though it was a free rental. About what I expected. But it was a free rental, so...)
The Philadelphia Story (I really wanted to like this one, but I'm not a Hepburn fan and Stewart is more miss than hit with me. Cary Grant's good.)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (I love it every time.)
"Battlestar Galactica (2003) - Season One" (Yep. It's awesome.)
I think that's all of them. Also, I'm developing a small script idea. Here's the pitch: A subtler, creepier version of The Shining, with robots! Except, you know, not exactly. You know how these things go. The pitch says nothing. Anyway, just a dude and his robots.

You didn't like Philadelphia eh?
In that case I cannot recommend "Adam's Rib" to you. Or "The African Queen." Being as your Hepburn non-love runs deep.
Saw them both. Didn't like either.
I watched a Suzuki picture last night, man. Youth of the Beast. It was NUMBAH WAN KEELAAAAAH!
Seriously, it's awesome. Check it if you haven't already.

Oh I had Forgotten that Criterion released a new batch of Suzuki pictures. If I had the disposable income of yore then indeed... they would be mine.
You need to get the NewXmeN Omnibus from Marvel. Yeah its 100 bucks. But boyhowdy is it worth it. Reading that MUCH Grant Morrison at once is a head trip. Even IF its in the realitive safety of the Marvel U.

Oh, incidently, Im thinking of showing kids in my Youth Group BATTLE ROYALE!
This may be a move that could get me fired. Or cement my legend as the greatest Youth Pastor of ALL TIME!!!
What you think?

First, there's no way I'm getting an omnibus of New X-Men when I own all but the last of the trades. Let's talk the omnibus of Alias. That I might do.
Second, danger Nick RobVinson! I'd find a safer movie than that. Work your way up. Start with the subtly subversive, then go to the overt despite the temptation to just go all out.

Then shall we start with... NUMBAH WAN KEELAAAAH!
Or Gremlins 2?
