I can't believe I forgot to mention what everyone surely already had in their minds: the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series. I am le happy. Perhaps even l'ecstatic.

I like cardinals, they are pretty birds, we don't get them here... do they win the world series often? Which countries were they playing this year? ;)

Cardinals are pretty birds, and they tend to win the World Series every few decades or so. The United Souls of St. Louis played and beat the Evil Dictatorship of Detroit on the dark continent of Michigan. It just goes to show that good triumphs over Detroit once again.

And let us not forget that St Louis also bested Detroit at most dangerous city. Yes my friends, St Louis is thee Most Dangerous City in America according to the FBI. Detroit? Why they are in second. Exactly like their standing in the MLB. HAHAHA!!!
To be fair, it's really East St. Louis (which is actually in the fine state of Illinois rather than Missouri like it's Western brother) that holds the Most Dangerous City distinction. Regardless, I think we can all agree that Detroit does not, in fact, rock but does, in reality, suck.
