It's ironic. *slap* It's geeky. *slap* It's ironic and geeky!

I wish there was something more exciting to say. I'm pretty much just doing the work thing at the moment. I'm a little nervous because it's been about two weeks since something tragic has happened to me. I'm way past due. By the way I apologize if anyone was going to get me this t-shirt...
...because I ended up getting it for myself yesterday. I think the best part of it is that it kind of kills two birds with one stone. It'll make me cool with any hipsters because they'll view it as an ironic statement against the current trend of blind and/or naive patriotism. On a different and more direct level, I'll be cool with the geeks because it's a fucking Captain America t-shirt. I think we all know how much I like Captain America at this point, so I needn't tell you how excited I am about getting a bright blue shirt with an absolutely absurd statement next to a clearly approving Cap (he is giving the statement the Captain America Salute, after all).
I promise that's the last thing I buy myself until after Christmas. Granted, I have a terrible memory from promises I make, and I'm a filthy liar. Still...

you need to get Captain America & the Falcon: Madbomb(TPB). Its Jack Kirby. Doing Cap. Its awesome!
Oh I shall, my friend. I shall...
Sadly I made an audio post today about how it was an absurd (ridiculous!) 80 degrees in LA today and about how Larroquette had called Dick Van Dyke while we were driving home (and how only my mom and I would think that was cool), but it doesn't appear to have been posted. Nevertheless, that was the gist of the post...for what it's worth.

No way?! I think that's cool... Dick Van Dyke? As in Bert from Mary Poppins (coz all we brits are just like Julie Andrews) and, far more importantly, Dr Mark Sloan from Diagnosis Murder?! I love that guy, that is awesome - get me his autograph? Katy xx
