Ouch.

Ouch.

I just watched the England vs. France game in the Euro Cup. England led through most of the game, scoring one just before the break at the half. They maintained their lead the whole rest of the game...until stoppage time. Stoppage time--for those of you who aren't familiar with soccer rules--is time added on at the end of each half to compensate for out-of-bounds, penalties, etc. because of a continuously running clock. In the last two minutes of stoppage time, France scored twice. Once on a free kick just outside the box, and another on a penalty kick when the English goalkeeper took out a French player inside the box. Apparently the Franco-English rivalry is pretty intense. And of all the ways to lose, you never want it to be like that. Ouch indeed.
