One hundred is about twenty too much

One hundred is about twenty too much

I like warm weather just as much as the next guy, but I don't like the feeling of skin peeling off my bones. I'm sure the next guy is with me on this one, too. It was 100 degrees today in Santa Clarita where I was working today. Granted, it was only a few hours of work--from leaving the apartment at 10 AM to getting back to real air conditioning at probably 4 PM--but that's a pretty long time when you're just standing around in the sun. It was so hot the Earth burst into flames. You'll have to take my word on it if you don't want to register at The Los Angeles Times Online.

By the way, here's the guy I'm working for. You'll have to ignore that they misspelled Eric Bana's name in the article. You'll also have to excuse the picture. I've never seen him look like that. He's a goofy bastard, and that picture belies that. Picture him like that sans facial hair and goofy as hell.

I think my plans for the rest of the day will be to down a few cold ones and watch some moving pictures. Ahhhhh.
